What We Talk About:
As a peer educator/trainer, Project T.R.U.S.T. teens educate the community on a variety of topics.The focus is on abstinence as the healthy choice for teens. The program empowers teens with decision-making skills and questions to consider when deciding to be abstinent.The program also includes education on proper use of contraception, the effectiveness and where to access contraceptives and sexual health care.Other topics include:
- STDs/STIs & HIV/AIDS
- sexual assault prevention & resources
- healthy relationships & decision making
- talking with partners & parents
- puberty, anatomy & emotional development
- sexual orientation
- gender identity and more!
