What We Do
Project T.R.U.S.T. is a pre-pregnancy program. We educate on prevention — increasing knowledge, awareness and behavior change, to empower teens to become responsible health
decision makers.
We educate the community through one-on-one contacts, rap sessions, panel presentations, education displays at fairs, workshops, retreats, referrals, education presentations, mentoring & training. Project T.R.U.S.T. is also a Peace Jam club. Peace Jam is an international organization that works with and through students to promote peace in their individual communities.
The Teen Clinic at Planned Parenthood is every Wednesday from 3:00-5pm. Teens can come to talk one-on-one with a member of the Project T.R.U.S.T. team, get sexual health exams, pregnancy tests, STI screenings, birth control, educational materials and give-aways. Parents are welcome to join their teens at the Wednesday night clinic and talk with a peer educator. |
