Experience for yourself why Planned Parenthood
of South Central Michigan is the leading resource for sexuality
education.
The Center for Leadership in Sexuality Education's goal is to ensure that sexuality is understood
as an essential life long aspect of being human and that it is
celebrated with respect, openness and mutuality.
Training & Consultation
Experienced facilitators offer up-to-date training to build knowledge, skills, curricula, and educational
resources. Youth workers, students, health professionals, religious

Peer Education
Proven to be one of the most effective approaches
in impacting lasting change:
Project T.R.U.S.T.
A nationally recognized teen peer education program active in Calhoun County. Local high school youth are trained
in leadership, sexuality education, and facilitation
skills. Their goals are: to help reduce teen pregnancies
and sexually transmitted infections, increase healthy relationships
and sexual decision making, and ensure every individual's right
to medically accurate, age appropriate sexual health information
and services without fear, shame or exploitation. Email projecttrust@hotmail.com to learn more about the program, meeting with teen peer educators,
or inviting these youth leaders to your event!
House to House
House to House is the outreach portion of the Healthy Babies-Healthy Start program at Planned Parenthood. For 15 years, House to House has been a very effective community outreach and education program. Women from local
neighborhoods are trained in a wide range of topics including:
male and female reproductive health, reducing infant mortality,
birth control choices, and breast health awareness. They present
the information to small groups in the homes of friends, family, and neighbors. This program
is designed to empower the harder-to-reach, lower income, and
minority communities.
Resource Center
A unique collection of books, videos, CDs, journals, periodicals, brochures, demonstration models,
educational
charts, contraceptive kits, curricula, youth and family activities,
research packets, and more!
