With the assistance of members of our Clergy Advisory Board, we now have a spiritual component to our comprehensive healthcare services. We have invited area clergy to be available as a support person on days when surgical procedures are scheduled. The clergy volunteers discretely make themselves visible in the waiting areas as well as in the recovery room. They engage in conversation with women as requested. Many women even ask for them to pray for them prior to or after the surgery.

Clients are informed of the clergy support services during their counseling session which takes place before the procedure is scheduled. It is solely their choice as to whether they wish to receive this additional assistance.
