If at all possible, we recommend that you stop by Planned Parenthood to pick up these materials in person or have them mailed to you to avoid some of the problems with accessing them over the public Internet. This State mandated law says the patient has the option to review or not review these materials. However, you must sign the informed consent form before your abortion can be performed. You should know that the materials were created by the State of Michigan through legislation drafted by Right to Life of Michigan. While the State claims they are medically accurate and unbiased, we do not necessarily agree.
